Prof. Clement Tham graduated from Oxford Medical School in 1993, after receiving his first degree in the medical sciences at Cambridge University.

Prof Pang received a BSc (Hon) in Biochemistry in 1978, University of London, and DPhil in 1982, University of Oxford, on an EP Abraham Research Fund Scholarship, followed by postdoctoral research in Oxford.

Prof Christopher Leung was awarded the Chevening Postgraduate Scholarship in 1996 to study molecular medicine at the Imperial College London and the Croucher Foundation Fellowship in 2006 to complete a clinical and research fellowship in glaucoma at the Hamilton Glaucoma Center, the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

Dr Kelvin Chong graduated at the top of his class in the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (CUHK) program. He was awarded the Li Po Chun Charitable Trust Fund Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship for his observership at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and LA Biomedical Institute. 

Dr CHEN Li Jia Guy

Dr Chen graduated as Bachelor of Medicine with 1st class honor in 2004 and Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) with 1st class honor in 2007 at the Shantou University Medical College.

Dr BRELÉN Mårten

Dr Brelén obtained his clinical medical degree (BMBCh) from Oxford University and spent 4 years in research at the University of Louvain in Belgium which led to the degree of PhD in Biomedical Sciences. 

Dr YAM Cheuk Sing Jason

Academic Coordinator, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Service, Hong Kong Eye Hospital 

Dr. Jason Yam subspecializes in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and Pediatric Ocular Genetics. He received overseas training in Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and finished an international fellowship with Prof. Kenneth Wright in Los Angeles.

Dr CHEUNG Yim Lui Carol

Dr Cheung received BSc and M. Phil in Physics in the University of Hong Kong, and PhD in School of Metallurgy and Materials Sciences, the University of Birmingham.

Dr CHAN Pui Man Poemen

Dr Chan graduated from The University of Hong Kong with multiple scholarships and awards, including CP Fong Gold Medal in Medicine, H.C. Liu Prizes in Anatomy, Mr & Mrs. S. H. Wong Foundation Scholarship, BL Wong Scholarships and Yu Chun Keung Mem. Scholarships.

Dr NG Siu Chun Danny

Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Dr Ng obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University where he graduated with departmental honors. He received his medical degree and Master of Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong.

Dr Chu graduated in Molecular Biotechnology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004 and completed his DPhil research program at the University of Oxford in 2010, followed by 4-year post-doctoral research in the University of Copenhagen.
